2.1 Services Provided
Ronda Boice Consulting LLC provides mobile notary and Remote Online Notarization (RON) services to eligible clients in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in accordance with the Pennsylvania Revised Uniform Law on Notarial Acts, 57 Pa.C.S. §§ 301–331, including all applicable regulations governing electronic and remote notarization. Services may include acknowledgments, jurats, oaths, affirmations, copy certifications, and signature witnessing where legally authorized. Mobile notary services are performed at mutually agreed locations. RON services are conducted through state-authorized audio-visual communication technology platforms compliant with Pennsylvania law. All services are subject to identity verification, statutory compliance, technological capability, and document eligibility requirements.2.2 Eligibility Requirements
To utilize our services, you must: (a) be at least eighteen (18) years of age or otherwise legally authorized; (b) present valid, unexpired government-issued identification meeting Pennsylvania legal standards; (c) possess legal capacity and act knowingly and voluntarily; (d) present documents eligible for notarization under applicable law; and (e) for RON services, successfully complete all credential analysis, identity proofing, and technological requirements. We reserve the right to refuse service where permitted by applicable law, including noncompliance with legal requirements, suspected fraud, safety concerns, technological failure, or document ineligibility.2.3 Identity Verification
Identity verification is mandatory for all notarization sessions. Clients must present legally acceptable identification. Remote Online Notarization sessions additionally require credential analysis, identity proofing, knowledge-based authentication (KBA), and audio-visual recording as required by Pennsylvania law. By scheduling or participating in RON services, you expressly consent to such identity verification procedures, electronic recordkeeping, and legally mandated retention of audio-visual recordings and transaction records for the duration required under Pennsylvania law. Failure to successfully complete verification procedures shall result in denial of service, and fees may remain nonrefundable where failure is attributable to client-provided information, documentation, or technological deficiencies.2.4 Client Responsibilities
You are solely responsible for ensuring that all documents presented are complete, accurate, lawful, and ready for notarization; that all signatories are present as required; that all statements made are truthful; and that all technological requirements are met for RON services. You acknowledge that Ronda Boice Consulting LLC does not draft documents, provide legal counsel, determine legal sufficiency, or guarantee acceptance by any third party.2.5 Notary Authority and Jurisdictional Limitations
Our notary public is commissioned solely under Pennsylvania law. We do not guarantee recognition or acceptance of notarized documents outside Pennsylvania or by any governmental agency, court, lender, foreign nation, or private institution. It is solely your responsibility to verify document acceptance requirements. No services provided constitute legal advice, tax advice, title advice, or the practice of law.2.6 Travel and Mobile Notary Scope
All statutory notarial fees shall comply with Pennsylvania law. Any travel fees, administrative fees, convenience fees, printing fees, or technology-related fees shall be separately disclosed, itemized, reasonable, and agreed upon prior to service completion. Payment is due in full at booking unless otherwise stated. By submitting payment, you authorize charges pursuant to our Payment and Refund Policy, which is incorporated herein by reference. Failure to appear, technological failure attributable to the client, incomplete documentation, or failed identity verification may result in forfeiture of applicable fees as permitted by law.2.7 Prohibited Uses
Essential for RON compliance:We collect, use, store, and retain personal information, identification records, transaction logs, and where applicable, audio-visual recordings in compliance with Pennsylvania law and our Privacy Policy. RON sessions may involve third-party platform providers for credential analysis and secure storage. By using our services, you consent to such collection, use, disclosure, and legally mandated retention. We implement commercially reasonable safeguards but cannot guarantee absolute security against cyber threats or unauthorized access beyond our reasonable control.2.8 Disclaimer of Warranties
Mobile appointments are subject to geographic availability, scheduling limitations, and safety considerations. We reserve the right to decline, terminate, or reschedule appointments due to unsafe conditions, threats, illegal activity, weather, accessibility issues, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.2.9 Limitation of Liability
Services may not be used for fraudulent, deceptive, coercive, forged, unlawful, or unauthorized purposes. Suspected illegal activity may be reported to governmental authorities, regulatory agencies, or law enforcement as required or permitted by law. We reserve the right to refuse or terminate services immediately under such circumstances.2.10 Indemnification
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DISCLAIM ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR GUARANTEED ACCEPTANCE OF DOCUMENTS.2.11 Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE TOTAL AMOUNT PAID FOR THE SPECIFIC SERVICE GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM. WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES. NOTHING HEREIN SHALL LIMIT LIABILITY WHERE SUCH LIMITATION IS PROHIBITED BY LAW.2.12 Severability
Unauthorized chargebacks for validly rendered or reserved services may constitute breach of contract and fraud. We reserve all rights to dispute improper chargebacks, recover costs, fees, collection expenses, and attorney’s fees where legally permissible.2.13 Modifications
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Ronda Boice Consulting LLC and its agents from claims, damages, liabilities, losses, and expenses arising from your misuse of services, false statements, unlawful conduct, document content, regulatory violations, or breach of this Agreement.2.14 Force Majeure
We shall not be liable for service interruptions, cancellations, delays, or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including internet outages, software failures, governmental actions, severe weather, emergencies, pandemics, labor disruptions, or acts of God.2.15 Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
This Agreement shall be governed by Pennsylvania law. Any dispute shall first be submitted to non-binding mediation within Pennsylvania. If unresolved, disputes shall be exclusively adjudicated in courts of competent jurisdiction located within Pennsylvania.2.16 Electronic Consent
By booking online, submitting payment, checking acceptance boxes, or participating electronically, you consent to transact electronically and agree that electronic signatures, acknowledgments, and records carry the same legal effect as physical signatures to the fullest extent permitted by law.2.17 Severability
If any provision is held unenforceable, remaining provisions shall remain in full force, and invalid provisions shall be modified only to the minimum extent necessary for enforceability.2.18 Modifications
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms become effective upon website publication with revised effective date. Continued use of services constitutes acceptance.
By scheduling an appointment, submitting payment, checking required acceptance boxes, or otherwise engaging our services, you expressly acknowledge, understand, and agree to be legally bound by this Payment and Refund Policy, our Terms and Conditions, and our Privacy Policy, all of which are incorporated herein by reference. Electronic acceptance and payment authorization constitute binding contractual consent to all applicable policies.3.1 Upfront Payment Requirement
All fees for mobile notary, electronic notarization, Remote Online Notarization (RON), loan signing, travel, administrative, platform, printing, mailing, and related services are due in full at the time of booking unless otherwise expressly agreed in writing. No appointment shall be confirmed until payment is successfully processed. Payment authorization constitutes consent to all disclosed charges, cancellation terms, rescheduling fees, and no-show forfeiture provisions.3.2 Fee Schedule — All Pennsylvania notarial act fees comply with applicable statutory maximums under 57 Pa.C.S. § 329.1 and related regulations. Separate travel, administrative, convenience, platform, printing, mailing, scheduling, and specialized service fees are independently disclosed, reasonable, and agreed upon in advance.

All pricing presented at booking governs the transaction. Fee schedules may be modified prospectively in accordance with applicable law. Our fees are structured as follows:
Notarial act (per signature/seal): $5.00 — per Pennsylvania statutory maximum
Mobile notary travel fee (local, within 15 miles): $25.00 – $50.00
Mobile notary travel fee (extended area, 15–30 miles): $50.00 – $75.00
After-hours / weekend mobile appointment surcharge: $25.00 additional
Remote Online Notarization (RON) session fee (includes platform fee): $25.00 per session
Each additional signature/seal in the same RON session: $5.00
Loan signing / real estate closing package (mobile): $150 – $200.00Loan signing / real estate closing package (RON): $175.00 – $250.00
Loan signing / real estate closing package (RON): Additional RON signers: $25 each
RON, General Notary Work includes a standard platform fee of $25 + administrative fee of $25 + per stamp fees of $5 each.
Printed and mailed certified copies (per copy): $10.00 + postageAll fees are disclosed at booking. Fees in effect at the time of booking confirmation govern your appointment.3.3 Accepted Payment Methods
Accepted payment methods may include credit cards, debit cards, ACH, Zelle, Venmo, PayPal, Cash App, and other approved electronic payment systems. Payment processors operate independently under PCI-DSS compliant standards. We reserve the right to decline certain payment methods, require verified payment sources, or request additional fraud-prevention verification.3.4 NO REFUND — NO-SHOW POLICY
Failure of any required signer or client to appear, participate, provide lawful documentation, complete identity verification, maintain required technology, or otherwise fulfill appointment obligations without timely written notice constitutes client nonperformance. In such cases, prepaid fees may be forfeited to the fullest extent permitted by law, including reserved appointment time, administrative preparation, and incurred travel obligations. This policy applies except where prohibited by law.3.5 Cancellation Policy
Written cancellations received at least twenty-four (24) hours prior to the scheduled appointment may qualify for either:Full refund, OR
One-time complimentary rescheduleEligibility excludes nonrecoverable third-party platform charges, processing fees, or dispatched travel costs already incurred where legally permissible. We reserve the right to require booking verification before processing cancellation requests.3.6 Rescheduling Policy
One complimentary reschedule may be permitted with timely written notice. Additional rescheduling requests may incur reasonable administrative fees. Late rescheduling requests may be treated as cancellations or no-shows depending on operational impact.3.7 Mobile Notary Travel Fee — Non-Refundable
Travel fees compensate for scheduling allocation, mileage, travel time, and dispatch commitments. Once the notary has been dispatched or travel preparations materially commenced, applicable travel fees become earned and generally non-refundable except where prohibited by law or due solely to notary-side failure.3.8 Refund for Notary-Side Failure
If service cannot be completed solely due to notary error, platform failure under our direct control, scheduling error attributable to Company, or legal disqualification caused by Company negligence, we may provide either:Full or partial refund, OR
Complimentary reschedulingThe selected remedy shall be determined at Company’s reasonable discretion, subject to applicable law.3.9 Chargebacks
Initiating false, fraudulent, or contractually improper chargebacks may constitute breach of contract and financial fraud. We reserve all legal rights to dispute chargebacks, provide policy acknowledgments, recover collection costs, administrative expenses, payment processor penalties, attorney’s fees where legally recoverable, and pursue civil remedies.3.10 Applicable Taxes
Applicable taxes, regulatory fees, or legally mandated surcharges shall be separately disclosed where required by law and collected accordingly. Clients remain responsible for all lawful charges associated with booked services.3.11 Force Majeure and Emergency Disruptions
We shall not be liable for cancellations, delays, rescheduling, or service interruptions caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including severe weather, internet outages, platform failures, government actions, emergencies, illness, accidents, or acts of God. In such events, remedies may include reasonable rescheduling or discretionary refunds where appropriate.3.12 Refund Processing Timeframes
Operational protection:
Approved refunds shall generally be processed within a commercially reasonable timeframe, typically within 7–14 business days, subject to third-party payment processor timelines. Processing fees may be nonrefundable where permitted by law.3.13 Policy Modifications
Strong legal protection:
We reserve the right to modify this Payment and Refund Policy prospectively at any time to reflect legal, operational, pricing, or regulatory changes. Updated versions become effective upon website publication.
